AI accounting software in Uzbekistan
Centa AI is cloud AI accounting software for YATT and MChJ: it reads bank statements and documents itself, posts journal entries on the NAS chart of accounts, matches payments to documents, estimates VAT, turnover and profit tax, and tracks Tax Code deadlines. It runs in the browser and in Telegram, in Uzbek, Russian and English, from 500,000 UZS a month.

What is accounting software?
Accounting software records a company’s money, documents and obligations by double entry and derives reports and tax amounts from them. In Uzbekistan it has to handle:
- Double-entry books on the NAS chart of accounts: journal entries, trial balance, general ledger, balance sheet and profit and loss.
- The company’s tax regime: 12% VAT and profit tax on the general regime, or turnover tax (4%, 1% for a YATT).
- Bank statements: import from any bank, duplicate protection, balance reconciliation.
- Electronic documents: invoices, acts and contracts from Didox, matched to payments.
- Cash register and corporate cards: day closing, fiscal receipts, shortages and surpluses.
- Payroll: personal income tax and social tax, payroll runs.
- Deadlines: filing and payment by Tax Code article.
What is AI accounting?
AI accounting software does not wait for data entry — it takes the data itself: it reads statements and documents, classifies the transaction, posts it, and asks a person only where the data is not enough. Amounts are computed by code, not by a language model. The concept itself, how an AI accountant differs from a regular one and how to check the result, is covered in what an AI accountant is.
What Centa automates
- Posts bank transactions and creates NAS journal entries — AI bookkeeping.
- Reads documents (PDFs, scans, photos): number, date, parties with tax IDs, amounts and VAT come from the document text.
- Links each payment to its document; a part payment never closes an invoice — part payments.
- Collects the unclear cases in one place: missing document, amount mismatch, duplicate, unclear category — Exception Engine.
- Estimates VAT, profit or turnover tax, personal income tax and social tax, and keeps a tax calendar — tax.
- Builds reports: profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow, trial balance — reports.
Excel, 1C, an outsourced accountant or Centa AI
| Criterion | Excel | 1C-type systems | Outsourced accountant | Centa AI |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Setup | Immediate; you design the sheet yourself | Installation and configuration, usually with a specialist | A contract and a document hand-over routine | Browser or Telegram; connect the company by tax ID and upload a statement |
| Automation | Formulas and macros you write | By configured rules; much is entered by hand | A person does the work | Posting, entries and matching are automatic; unclear cases become questions |
| Document recognition | None | Depends on the configuration and add-on services | The specialist enters it | PDFs, scans and photos: number, date, tax ID, amounts, VAT |
| Bank reconciliation | By hand | Via bank-client import; matching depends on configuration | The specialist, usually at month end | On every upload: duplicate protection, balance check, link to documents |
| Tax tracking | Formulas and a manual calendar | Report forms exist; the accountant watches deadlines | The specialist | Preliminary estimates, deadlines by Tax Code article, reminders |
| Reporting | You build it | A wide set of standard and statutory reports | On request, usually monthly | P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, trial balance — at any time |
| AI analysis | With separate tools | Depends on configuration and services | Depends on the specialist’s experience | Centa Intelligence: questions over your own data, rules quoted |
| Ease of use | Familiar, but errors go unchecked | Requires accounting knowledge | Easy for the owner — the work is delegated | For owners and accountants; 3 languages, phone and computer |
| Cost transparency | Licence usually owned; the time cost is hidden | Licence, implementation and support priced separately | By contract, depends on volume | Public plans: YATT 500,000, MChJ 1,200,000 UZS a month |
These are not either/or: many companies keep an accountant for filing and hand the routine to software. More: Excel or accounting software, 1C or AI accounting and Centa AI vs an outsourced accountant.
For a YATT
For a YATT what matters is revenue, the 1% turnover tax, the 1 bn UZS income threshold and the monthly deadline on the 15th. Centa collects revenue from bank and cash, separates transfers between your own accounts and shows income since the start of the year. More on YATT accounting; the plan is 500,000 UZS a month.
For an MChJ
An MChJ works either on turnover tax or on the general regime with 12% VAT and 15% profit tax; with staff, also personal income and social tax. Centa handles both regimes: VAT per transaction, matching to VAT invoices, balance sheet and P&L. More on MChJ accounting; the plan is 1,200,000 UZS a month.
Taxes and reporting
Centa estimates taxes from the books and shows which transactions and which rate each amount comes from: VAT, turnover tax, profit tax, personal income and social tax. Deadlines follow the tax calendar, checked against the Tax Code text on LexUZ. Centa does not file returns: the amounts are preliminary estimates and your accountant files.

Cash and transactions
Cash is kept separate from the bank: receipts, payments, bank deposits, day closing and differences — cash accounting. For corporate-card purchases the fiscal receipt’s QR code is read and the receipt is linked to the payment — card receipts. All transactions sit in one list with filters and document status — transactions.
Centa Intelligence
Ask about your finances in plain words: “how much VAT do we owe for last month?”, “which client owes the most?”, “which taxes does an IT Park resident pay?”. Figures are computed from your books; tax rules are quoted from LexUZ. In Russian, Uzbek and English — Centa Intelligence.

How to choose
- Know your regime: YATT or MChJ, turnover tax or the general regime — it decides what the software must calculate.
- Size the work: how many bank transactions and documents a month, and who enters them today.
- Check your data sources: which banks, whether you use Didox, whether you have a cash register.
- Decide who files: the software keeps the books and deadlines; leave filing to an accountant.
- Try it on real data: the demo company shows the books without signing up.

Frequently asked questions
What is an AI accountant?
Software that reads statements and documents itself, classifies transactions, posts journal entries and matches payments to documents. When the data is not enough it does not guess — it asks a person.
Why use accounting software?
To see cash, debts and taxes without waiting for month end, to cut entry errors and to stop missing Tax Code deadlines.
Does a YATT need accounting software?
With few transactions a spreadsheet can be enough. With several accounts, cash, staff or income approaching 1 bn UZS, software tracks revenue and deadlines more reliably.
Which accounting software suits an MChJ?
One that supports your tax regime (VAT or turnover tax), double entry on the NAS chart, bank statements and Didox documents. Use the “How to choose” list above.
Does Centa replace 1C?
Centa is separate cloud accounting software that posts statements and documents itself. Data from 1C moves over with exports (trial balance, registers); OData sync is in beta. Many companies use both.
Does Centa work with Didox?
Yes, in beta: with your API access, VAT invoices, acts and contracts are loaded from Didox and matched to payments. You can also upload a Didox export by hand.
Can Centa calculate taxes?
Centa computes preliminary VAT, turnover or profit tax, personal income tax and social tax from the books. They are estimates; your accountant files the returns.
Can Centa calculate VAT?
Yes. Output and input VAT are computed per transaction and per VAT invoice; a purchase without a document showing VAT becomes a question before it reaches the estimate.
Does Centa process bank transactions automatically?
Yes. An Excel/CSV statement from any bank is uploaded, duplicates are dropped, and transactions are classified, posted and linked to documents. Bank APIs are in beta.
